Hosting services were temporarily down today related to yesterday’s issue. While the issue was resolved promptly yesterday, the events overlapped the timeframe where email volume is measured which triggered an automatic “null” on the server.
This failsafe process of “null” effectively makes all traffic in and out of the server “black hole” and is important in protecting the reputation score of not only the IP Address for web hosting but also the email deliverability - both from hosted email and linkage to providers like Outlook365 and Gmail Suites.
This is the direct result of our partnership with ColoCrossing right here in downtown Buffalo. While we fully manage our own servers, they provide high-level support in regards to security and manage the connectivity - and that is highly valuable to First Page Media and our Clients.
